NEVER GIVE UP is the Arknights’ new soundtrack, A collabration with Yoster and Artist Stayloose. In the initial phase of the design, we wanted to design a typeface that fits the ink washed style animation, but also contains elements that shows the struggle and conflicts from the character , when we think about the conflicts, we immediately decided to use the reserve contrast type style, we also split the character V into 2 to emphasise the conflicts , in the end, we minimised the contrast of the type to be able to archive a better balance between the calligraphy stroke and the type structure.
NEVER GIVE UP 是由 Yostar 和艺术家 Stayloose 合作的明日方舟原声音乐，在设计创作的第一阶段，我们意图设计一个能和水墨风格动画融合在一起同时又能表达出角色内心斗争和冲突的风格，所以我们选择了设计一款反常规的逆反差的字体，同时将V字分开来强调内心的争斗，与此相对应的，我们在字体横竖的平衡对比方面做的细微，以便在书法笔触和字体结构之间取得更好的平衡，让书法的质感更为突出。
